Sustained Challenge 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 3
I for one am ready for a longer challenge that we discussed earlier. Maybe it is already going?? I have just been skimming everything for weeks now
I was thinking Carla mentioned an 8 week challenge. Perhaps we could do one where we customize our "daily checklist" and report in each day how it is going?
Am I overstepping my bounds
If Carla gives go ahead, how about we start Monday and go through the next eight weeks?

This is a great idea, Debbie. If there aren't a lot of takers on this challenge, you could still set something up and jump into the Individual Journey segment for reporting.

Funny, this exactly what I had in mind for the "older groups" - using the checklist as a guide. Though I like the idea of starting at the beginning of a month, I thought it might be better to wait until kids were off and running in school... so maybe starting September 13th?

We also have the option of using a joint/public google spreadsheet as a reporting mechanism. It can be anonymous (or not) but it might be interesting to see how the group as a whole progresses.

What do you think of September 13th as a start date? Then, 8 weeks will take us until 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. What a great way to work up to the holidays!

And, would you prefer just posting individually on progress or seeing a group spreadsheet?

This long-term challenge would really flex my HHO muscles. I do like Debbie's idea of customizing the daily checklist as well as individual reporting. In the words of one of Granddaughter Lola's favcorite expressions: Weeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaa!

I'm "in" for starting September 13th.
I think a group spreadsheet is a good idea for checking in..

I'm getting excited for opening day of the Sustained Challenge!!!

To that end, I'm browsing old cookbooks and adding sticky notes to recipes that can be reworked in an HHO way. If the majority of the book cannot be used, it's going bye-bye. This is a great way to reorganize one area of my bookshelves. It will also add some pizzazz to the mix of my planning.

I wish each of us well as we embark on this aspect of the HHO Journey!

Okay, I am in for the challenge. Summer brought lots of challenges and I have not really been keeping up with anything. Starting the 13th will give me a little time to review all that I have missed and give me a boost to get back to HHO and all the program offers. May need lots of guidance as we get close since I have been so far out of the loop this summer.

This is going to be fun! All Week 26 participants will receive an email on Friday Sept 10th with more details re: the challenge. For any others who want to participate, just go to the Weekly Article content section and read Week 26 Day 5!

We'll be competing for a custom made hula hoop- anyone who posts their progress daily will be entered in a random drawing for the hoop! Very Cool..
