The Health Improvement Circuit is adaptable and progressive to help you improve your health and fitness at a level that suits you. We start with a warm-up section to mobilise joints and muscles and gradually build intensity. We then work round different exercises at the circuit stations and finish with a cool-down section to gradually ease the intensity down and stretch the muscles. The exercises are suitable for all abilities and can be adapted depending upon your individual needs and your fitness level.​​

Health Improvement

Regular physical activity has numerous health benefits. It will help to maintain cardiovascular fitness, bone strength, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, co-ordination and balance. Long-Term Conditions

Government guidance highlights that physical activity has significant benefits for both physical and mental health and it can help to prevent and manage over 20 chronic conditions and diseases, including some cancers, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and depression.
